A DESKTOP RESEARCH WORKSPACE
Life.
A home for coding agents, research, and a workspace you can shape around the way you think.
In developmentLife is an Electron desktop workspace for Codex and Claude Code. It brings agent conversations, project files, a terminal, diffs, and Git tools into one interface, with local environments and SSH connections for working on another machine.
A separate Research workspace organizes goals, problems, notes, artifacts, and editable maps. It keeps research conversations connected to their own context, with room to trace a question through candidate solutions and evidence.
Life Studio explores a more personal kind of application: a workspace that can be customized through prompts. Source changes, settings, and extensions have their own build, inspection, and recovery flow, so changing the tool can become part of using it.
A closer look
Agents in context
Conversations sit alongside the project's files, terminal, changes, and environment.
A place to investigate
Goals, problems, notes, and maps give research a workspace of its own.
Make it your workspace
Life Studio supports prompt-driven customization with build and recovery controls.
