FORMAL VERIFICATION TOOLS
Axiom.
Exploring a development workflow where accepting code depends on checking the properties it is supposed to satisfy.
Initial scaffoldAxiom is a Rust-first project for bringing formal verification into everyday development. Its direction is a local service that continuously checks a project, backed by a verification engine of its own.
The current implementation is an initial scaffold: project initialization, configuration discovery, a CLI, and a local HTTP service. The verification engine, source watching, and commit enforcement are still to be implemented.
The next questions are foundational: which language subset to support, how properties should be expressed, and how proof checking and useful diagnostics should fit into a developer's workflow.
A closer look
Start with the project
Initialization and configuration discovery establish the local workspace.
A local service
The HTTP scaffold reports service health and explicitly marks verification as unavailable.
Define the guarantee
The proof engine, supported semantics, and specification format remain design work.
