INFRASTRUCTURE & DEVELOPER TOOLS
Cadence.
A Rust service toolkit that brings data, traffic, storage, and application operations into a common workflow.
In developmentCadence is a growing toolkit for building and operating services. Its current components include a durable ordered-tuple database, a TCP load balancer, disk-backed object storage, a Rust function runtime, and a durable event bridge.
A command-line interface makes these components available through one tool. The project also includes a web control plane and initial local workflows for delivery, infrastructure, releases, recovery, and service lifecycle management.
Authentication, authorization, key custody, and audit services are being developed alongside the core toolkit. The work includes explicit protocol, storage, testing, and trust-boundary documentation as the pieces take shape.
A closer look
Service building blocks
Database, storage, load balancing, functions, and events share a Rust toolkit.
Repeatable operations
CLI commands and a companion web interface connect inspection with repeatable actions.
A growing platform
Local development and operations workflows extend the individual services.
